● Illinois State Military Museum Living History Detachment Re-enactors

● Illinois National Guard and Militia Historical Society

● Illinois State Military Museum

WHAT:

● An opportunity to learn about the real-life weapons and events shown in video games based on World War II. This event will feature uniformed living historians, artifacts from the war, and a recreated trench. There will also be lectures on World War II. Living historians will display uniforms and military equipment from multiple fronts of World War II and discuss how service members lived and fought in the Pacific and in Europe.

WHEN:

● Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

WHERE:

● Illinois State Military Museum, two blocks north of the intersection of MacArthur Blvd. and North Grand Ave., 1301 N. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, IL 62702
