Moline, IL (April 20, 2019) — West Music Quad Cities, in partnership with D’Addario, will host a free guitar-re-string event to benefit the River Music Experience on Saturday, April 20, 2019. With a suggested donation of $5, the guitar and repair expert’s at West Music Quad Cities will professionally re-string any 6-string acoustic or electric guitar with a free new set of D’Addario NYXL or Nickle Bronze strings. Limited to one guitar with standard-gauges and configurations per customer.

All contributions from this exciting community event will go directly to the River Music Experience. West Music is proud to support their mission to provide residents and visitors opportunities to experience America's music — most especially the music of the Mississippi River — through live music and programs designed to nurture, educate, and inspire musicians and music appreciators.

Ryan West, Executive Vice President of West Music says, “We are excited to join forces with our friends at River Music Experience. We believe music benefits everyone and we applaud their efforts and contributions to our music community. Last year, we raised nearly $1000 during our region-wide re-string event, and we are excited to once again deliver support to our local partners!”

The event will take place during store hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5PM on Saturday, April 20, at West Music Quad Cities, 4305 44th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265. For more information on this event, please contact Bruce Nelson, West Music Quad Cities Store Manager, 309-764-9300.
