MOLINE, IL - West Music is proud to announce the grand re-opening of their new Quad Cities West Music store. Located just one mile East of Interstate 74 on John Deere Road and 41st Street in Moline, the new 12,000 square foot facility will represent a new concept in music retailing.

"The new store will be fully interactive," said Steve West, President. "With integrated plasma screen video in each department, you`ll be able to get an entirely new perspective on the instruments you`re trying out. We`re even adding a number of rooms throughout the store that are fully soundproofed for instrument testing. Whether you want sheet music printed in any key or a piano that can play from an iPod, West Music Quad Cities will be the ultimate resource."

West Music Quad Cities will celebrate its grand re-opening this Saturday, August 11th from 10am - 5pm with in-store "red carpet" specials in every department, celebrity special guests, drawings, all of the best Quad City bands, food, and activities for "kids" of all ages. The first 100 people to arrive will receive a free commemorative t-shirt. Jeff James from Star 93.5 will broadcast live from 11am - 1pm and he also will announce the winner of the West Music Mystery Montage.

Each morning from August 6th to 10th, Star 93.5 will play snippets of songs to be guessed by listeners. The first callers with the correct answer will be entered into a drawing for a trip for two to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Ellis Kell from River Music Experience will lead a Percussion Ensemble for all to take part in. Video Games Etc. will be providing a Dance Dance Revolution contest, along with a Guitar Hero contest that you won`t want to miss!
