DAVENPORT, IOWA (August 13, 2019) — Iowa State Representatives Phyllis Thede, Cindy Winckler, and Monica Kurth will be hosting a Women in Labor Round-Table Discussion to highlight issues facing working women on Saturday, September 28, 10AM-12PM, at the UFCW Local 431 (2411 W Central Park Avenue, Davenport, Iowa 52804).

When working women come together with male allies to collectively bargain under a union contract, they achieve fair pay, robust benefits, respect on the job, and, most importantly

Working women have been invited to participate in this discussion including those protected by collective bargaining agreements and those who aren’t. The public is invited to attend; however, we’d ask that they listen to the Round-Table discussion so that all participants are given priority.
