DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 15, 2019) — Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of World War II by joining Kevin Braafladt, the Army Sustainment Command Deputy Historian at the Rock Island Arsenal, in exploring the history of the momentous invasion of Europe on Normandy Beach and the subsequent Battle of Normandy. One of the most widely-known battles from World War II, the battle at Normandy Beach required strategic planning and cooperation between the Allied forces. The lecture will be held Wednesday, June 12, 6PM, at Eastern, 6000 Eastern Ave.
