DES MOINES, IOWA (November 18, 2024) — The Iowa Motion Picture Association and Fridley Theatres are proud to announce a strategic partnership that will strengthen Iowa’s position in the future of the film industry and allow local filmmakers to have greater access to theatrical exhibition.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 16, 2024) — Kaleidoscope, Augustana College Art Department’s children’s-art program, will soon be moving to the Figge Art Museum. The Art Department has offered children’s-art classes for nearly 100 years, including 42 years under the title Kaleidoscope.

Kaleidoscope at the Figge will begin March 8. Registration information will be available in the near future at figgeartmuseum.org.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (November 16, 2024) — What started out as a doodle in the margins of a page has become an award-winning artwork for Monmouth College's Eric Pio.

The junior from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, received the Best of Show honor Friday at the college's Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition.
