The display features paintings of prominent women from the suffrage and civil rights movements.

Tuesday, July 2, marks the 100th anniversary of Iowa ratifying the 19thAmendment. Its passage ended the prohibition against females voting.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

DeLessio, from Bettendorf, Iowa, is majoring in Zoology.

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 28, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Christopher Polking as a district court judge in Judicial Election District 2B. Polking, of Carroll, Iowa, received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He currently practices law at the Polking Law Office in Carroll and previously served as a part-time judicial magistrate in Carroll County for nine years.
