ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS (March 6, 2024) — Dr Paul Sundberg received the Distinguished Service Award at the National Pork Industry Forum in early March in Rosemont, Illinois, for his career-long dedication to bettering the pork industry.

CLIVE, IOWA (January 25, 2024) — Iowa’s Master Pork Producers for 2023 were announced Wednesday night at the Iowa Pork Congress banquet in Des Moines. A Master Pork Producer award denotes an individual’s or family’s excellence in pork production, as measured by pork production statistics, dedication to We Care® principles, and contributions to their community.

CLIVE, IOWA (January 24, 2024) — Washington County pig farmer Matt Gent is the new president of the Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA). He took over the role during the organization’s annual meeting in Des Moines on January 23. Gent and his family own a farrow-to-finish swine enterprise called Prairie Pork near Wellman. They also grow corn and soybeans.
