DES MOINES, IOWA (April 8, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate, Iowa Campus Compact, and the Campus Election Engagement Project are joining forces for a student Voter Engagement Summit on Saturday, April 13. This will mark the third Voter Engagement Summit conducted by Sec Pate’s Office since 2016, and the first to incorporate high school students into the event.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 6, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate supports an Iowa House bill that would mandate all 99 counties utilize absentee ballot tracking from the US Postal Service. Bipartisan amendments were added to House File 608, including Secretary Pate’s suggestion that implementation take place prior to October 1, 2020.
