Clark's three-year term as head of the organization began on Saturday, May 18, following the Lincoln Academy's annual Convocation, where six distinguished Illinoisans were recognized for their achievements.

IOWA CITY, IOWA (May 17, 2019) — Senator Kamala Harris will campaign in Western and Central Iowa May 23 and 24. On Thursday, May 23, she will hold events in Sioux City, including a public town hall. On Friday, May 24, she will campaign in Council Bluffs and Des Moines. This will be Sen Harris’ fourth trip to Iowa since announcing her candidacy for president of the United States.
