ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 10, 2023) — The United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world. HIV prevalence among incarcerated individuals is more than three times higher than among the general population. The majority of the people in America's jails and prisons will eventually be released, and they face a myriad of challenges once they do so, including serious risk of housing instability and homelessness.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 8, 2022) — Project NOW is rehabilitating single-family homes and duplexes for veterans (or essential workers) to rent at an affordable rate. There is a shortage of affordable rental-homes in the Quad Cities. A recent study, Silos to Solutions, indicates the gap of 6,645 affordable units.
