DES MOINES, IOWA (September 11, 2024) — The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and the Iowa Association of REALTORS® (IAR) have named Frontier Mortgage as the winner of the 2024 Iowa Homeownership Incubator Pitch Competition. Frontier Mortgage will receive $20,000 to enhance their financial literacy initiatives aimed at helping underserved Iowans, particularly Spanish-speaking home-buyers, achieve home-ownership.

CLIVE, IOWA (September 11, 2024) — Olivia Hanlon has joined the Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) team as the new communications manager. She comes to IPPA from Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach, where she served for four years as an agricultural and natural resources specialist for the ISU Small Farms team and worked as the executive secretary for the Iowa Specialty Crop Growers Association.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 10, 2024) — College and university students in the Iowa counties of Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Humboldt, Lyon, Monona, O'Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Pottawattamie, Scott, Sioux, and Woodbury may be eligible for disaster assistance. Students may qualify for a grant under FEMA’s Other Needs Assistance program for essential personal property and other needs.
