November 2018 –Gilda’s Club is hosting a FREE workshop for anyone impacted by cancer titled “Maintenance Treatment for Ovarian Cancer Presentation & Gynecological Cancer Support Group” on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Gilda’s Club (1234 East River Drive, Davenport, IA).

Get ready to hear your favorite jazz classics from the 1920s-40s performed live at Hauberg Estate! George Gershwin was the legendary composer behind songs, such as, "Rhapsody in Blue", which are still popular today. On November 10th, professional pianist/vocalist, Freddy Allen, will give a live performance of Gershwin's most-loved songs in the Tulip Room of the Hauberg Mansion. Guests will also enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Singer-songwriter Mandy Harvey, a former contestant on “America’s Got Talent,”will be in residence Oct. 29 through Nov. 3. Her visit is part of year’s Visiting Artist Series from Quad City Arts.

Aside from her musical work, Harvey is an author, lecturer, a sponsored Kala brand ukulele artist and an ambassador for No Barriers USA

Davenport, IA The 10th Annual Holiday Hat Bash presented by VanDerGinst Law is just around the corner on Thursday, November 15th and begins 5:30pm at CASI. Join us at the Hat Bash as we once again make holidays special for Quad Cities Seniors, providing holiday gifts and services all year long. Last year’s event raised over $30,000 and helped hundreds of seniors.

The TaxSlayer Center is currently in search of their 2018 Christmas tree to be displayed in the arena's circle drive throughout the holiday season. The tree will also be featured at the annual Lighting on the Commons Ceremony to be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
