CHICAGO (May 17, 2018)— Gov. Bruce Rauner today moved to increase the participation of minority-owned businesses in the state procurement process. By Executive Order 18-07, he established the Illinois African American Fair Contracting Commission and made it possible for contracts to be cancelled if African-American participation goals are not being met.

Kim Reynolds and a broad coalition of stakeholders will host a statewide forum on public safety next month to address challenges in rural Iowa, restorative justice, improving responses to those in the criminal justice system with behavioral health needs and strengthening community supervision.

Middle Amana, Iowa- The Amana Heritage Society will offer a summer and fall series of unique Communal Dining Experiences at the Communal Kitchen Museum (1003 26th Ave) in Middle Amana.  Join us each month from July through September for an authentic communal meal as it was prepared and eaten during communal times in the Amana Colonies.  The first meal of the series is scheduled for 5:30 pm on Friday, May 25th.  The cost is $25 with s
