As part of negotiations over the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), provisions were struck from the bill that were originally included in the legislation and would have halted the research.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack today introduced legislation that builds on current public-private partnership efforts to ensure our veterans have the skills necessary to seamlessly enter the workforce after they return home. The Veterans Employment Training (VET) Act would provide grants to encourage local businesses and community colleges to offer our veterans the training needed to be successful in newly created jobs.
