"Art Meets the River" Exhibit and Holiday Open House

The third year of the project features five local artists utilizing different art forms to further showcase the talent in the Quad Cities. UnityPoint Health Notifies Patients of Possible Plans to End Participation in Amerigroup Medicaid Health Plan

(WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – November 15, 2017) UnityPoint Health announced today it is notifying approximately 54,000 patients that its contract with Amerigroup of Iowa (Amerigroup) may end on December 31, 2017.  Amerigroup is one of the two remaining managed care organizations (MCOs) that participate in Iowa Health Link, Iowa’s managed Medicaid program.

National Gas Price Average Jumps Nine Cents since First of November

BURNSVILLE, Mn (November 13, 2017) - At $2.56, the national gas price average has increased nine cents inside of 13 days. Strong fall consumer gasoline demand has continued into November and is chipping away at national gasoline inventory. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) reports total gasoline inventories dropped by 3.3 million bbl in their latest report.

Subrecipient Grant Application Workshop Scheduled

On November 30, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Davenport Police Facility, the City of Davenport will hold a workshop to explain the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) YR44 (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019) subrecipient application process and requirements. Any agency or organization wishing to apply MUST attend this workshop. As a CDBG entitlement community, Davenport receives an annual allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
