Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse Announces Complimentary Lunch or Dinner for all Veterans and Active Military on Veterans Day. Friday, November 10th, 2017

Johnny’s Italian Steakhouses will be welcoming Veterans and active Military to join us for a complimentary lunch or dinner on Veteran’s Friday, November 10th 2017.

Veterans and active Military need only show a valid form of Military or Veterans ID to enjoy a complimentary lunch or dinner. A special menu has been created especially for this occasion and includes sides and a non-alcoholic beverage.

The TaxSlayer Center WILL RAISE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST

(Moline, IL - Oct. 31, 2017) -The TaxSlayer Center's annual Christmas tree is scheduled to arrive this Wednesday, Nov. 1st at approximately 1:45 p.m. The tree is being donated by Jeff and Pam Griffith of East Moline. The tree is approximately 30 - 35' tall and is a Douglas Fir.  Media is invited and encouraged to attend as the tree is raised.

Rock Island Library Drop In Tech Labs Offered at New Times

Iowa Department of Revenue announces new interest rate, tax brackets and standard deduction amounts for 2018

DES MOINES (October 30, 2017) - The Iowa Department of Revenue (IDR) today announced that the annual interest rate for overdue taxes and refunds in 2018 is 6 percent - which is the first change since 2010 - and also released tax brackets and standard deductions for 2018.
