Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dave Loebsack released the following statement after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its analysis of the Senate Republican’s healthcare repeal plan. The report concluded that over ten years, approximately 22 million fewer people would have healthcare coverage than under current legislation.

(June 26, 2017) - Saint Mary's College named the following students to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester: Carmen Bauer of Long Grove, IA To earn academic honors at Saint Mary's, a student must achieve a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, have at least 12 graded credit hours, no incompletes, and no grades lower than a C.

Celebrate the 4th and help feed the hungry by bringing donations of nonperishable food items to the annual Bettendorf parade and festival. Volunteers and staff at Churches United of the Quad City Area will be accepting donations along the parade route and during the festival under our tent located at Spruce Hills Drive and Middle Road. All food collected will go directly to the 26 food pantries and 3 hot meal sites operated by Churches United in the Quad Cities.
