Reaffirms support for Illinois agriculture industry

 

SPRINGFIELD -- Governor Rauner today discussed growing Illinois by supporting agribusiness, growing the economy, and creating more good-paying jobs at the Agriculture Legislative Day Breakfast.

City of Davenport will observe Good Friday as a holiday on Friday, April 14, 2017.

All City of Davenport offices & Public Works Center will be closed.

Police Department front desk and records office will be closed.

Library Main, Fairmount and Eastern branches will be closed.

Parks & Recreation administrative offices will be closed.

Expanding education for Illinois students to combat hate one prong of Governor’s anti-hate crimes initiative

SPRINGFIELD – Governor Bruce Rauner announced today the State of Illinois will work with the Simon Wiesenthal Center to expand anti-hate education to Illinois students. This is part of Governor Rauner’s efforts to combat anti-Semitism and other hate crimes in Illinois.

SPRINGFIELD – The Rauner Administration released the following statement regarding the Auditor General’s release of the Statewide Single Audit report. The state’s lack of a centralized financial system has caused years of repeated audit findings, which can be resolved by fully implementing ERP or Enterprise Resource Planning.
