On the Nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch to be Associate Justice of the Supreme Court

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa released the following statement on the nomination of Rachel Brand to be Associate Attorney General of the United States.

DUBUQUE, Iowa (February 1, 2017) - The University of Dubuque congratulates the following students on being appointed to the Fall Semester 2016 Academic Dean's List.

To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for that semester.

Wednesday, February 01, 2017 - WASHINGTON – Following a thorough review and lengthy debate, the Senate Judiciary Committee today approved the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions to be Attorney General of the United States. Sessions, a longtime member of the committee, took questions from his fellow senators for more than 10 hours in a marathon hearing and responded to more than 700 additional written questions prior to today’s vote in committee.

CHICAGO – Governor Bruce Rauner’s Illinois School Funding Reform Commission today approved a framework that allows members of the General Assembly to create a new school funding formula.

Davenport’s Central and West High Schools are co-hosting the 16th annual Great River Show Choir Invitational at the Adler Theater.  The Middle School Show Choirs begin competition Friday, February 17th at 4:30pm.  The High School Show Choirs will compete starting at 8
