DES MOINES, IA (01/03/2017)(readMedia)-- State Treasurer Michael L. Fitzgerald announced today that College Savings Iowa has once again reduced its fees. "In the last decade we have had seven price reductions, resulting in over a 65% decrease in fees in ten years," Fitzgerald said.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS - The Black Box Theatre will open their doors for the first time with a concert by The Westbrook Singers on January 15, 2017 at 4:30 pm.  The theatre is located at 1623 - 5th Avenue in downtown Moline and was founded by David Miller and Lora Adams.

WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa will be sworn in today for his seventh term as United States Senator. The Senate will convene at 11 a.m. (CT), noon (ET) for the swearing-in of new and re-elected senators. Vice President Biden will preside over the proceedings.
