BETTENDORF, IOWA (June 28, 2023) — The Quad Cities Chamber is launching a new program to help create the next generation of service-minded QC leaders called Generation Next. Designed for young to mid-career professionals, Generation Next will be the premier resource to help individuals become involved in the Quad Cities community through board and committee service.

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 28, 2023) — The Iowa Business Council (IBC) has released its second-quarter Economic Outlook Survey (EOS) for 2023. The report measures member expectations for sales, capital spending, and employment for the next six months. If the index measures above fifty, sentiment is positive. The second-quarter survey's overall economic outlook index is 64.17, an increase of 4.45 from the 2023 first-quarter report.

PELLA, IOWA (June 28, 2023) — The spring sports American Rivers Conference all-academic team was announced in June and 57 Central College student-athletes were honored for their academic and athletic excellence.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (June 27, 2023) — The Rock Island Arsenal Museum will re-open Thursday, June 29, 2023, after being closed for more than three years. There will be an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30AM to mark the occasion and to celebrate the return of the installation and greater Quad-Cities landmark of military history and heritage of the region. The museum originally opened on July 4, 1905, and is the second-oldest museum in the US Army.
