LeCLAIRE, IOWA (May 15, 2023) — LeClaire Community Library has been selected as one of 240 libraries in the nation to participate in Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an American Library Association (ALA) initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities.

LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA (May 15, 2023) — Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, welcomed 1,869 new initiates from 78 universities during April 2023.

Students initiated into the Society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate/professional students in the top 35% of their class, demonstrate leadership experience in at least one of the five pillars, and embrace the ODK ideals. Fewer than five percent of students on a campus are invited to join each year.

The Vikings' Rocket League claimed the NECC Navigators Great Lakes conference championship with a 4-1 victory over the Lions of Finlandia University. The Vikings wrapped a successful spring season by claiming two conference championship wins and multiple runner-up finishes in the National Esports Collegiate Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference
