Biodiesel Supporters Thank Iowa Lawmakers, Ask for Continued Backing

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 15, 2023) — Some of the most comprehensive biofuels legislation in the country is beginning to take effect in Iowa, a shift expected to improve consumer access to low-carbon biodiesel statewide while supporting the state economy. That’s the message from biodiesel producers, soybean farmers and other supporters as they meet with Iowa lawmakers and Governor Kim Reynolds today at the State Capitol.

Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) Announces Changes for Remainder of 2022-2023 Season

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 15, 2023) – The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) has announced schedule changes for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.

The only home date change for the Quad City Storm is a rescheduling of the game previously scheduled on March 23 to Tuesday April 4. The other changes to the schedule affect road dates and opponents.

The fully revised schedule is listed below:

Gov Kim Reynolds, IEDA Announce $2 Million in Manufacturing 4.0 Funding

Gov Kim Reynolds, Iowa Department of Education Launch DON’T QUIT!® Fitness Campaign in Iowa

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 15, 2023) — Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Education are partnering with the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils (NFGFC) and its chairman Jake Steinfeld to participate in the DON’T QUIT! campaign which aims to reverse growing trends in mental illness and childhood obesity. NFGFC will gift a state-of-the-art DON’T QUIT! fitness center to three elementary or middle schools in Iowa.
