IOWA CITY, IOWA (August 27, 2021) — More than 90 students of the University of Iowa's College of Public Health volunteered to support a group of Iowa City area non-profit and charitable organizations the Friday before the first day of classes. The community service provided the perfect opportunity for the students to get to know their peers a little better.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (August 26, 2021) — Lauren Plumley of Geneseo, Illinois, is part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's 296-member Cornhusker Marching Band, which will make its 2021 début September 4 at Memorial Stadium with pregame and halftime performances at Nebraska's football home opener against Fordham.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 26, 2021) — A Family Fun Day & Bike Rodeo, a joint event with the Rock Island Police Department, will be held at 1PM, Friday, August 27, at Lincoln Residences, located at 809 6th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois. Lincoln Residences includes forty-six homes in a combination of triplexes, duplexes, and single-family homes.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 24, 2021) — Since 1953, The Moline Foundation has awarded more than $39 million in grants to area non-profits.
