AMES, IOWA (May 6, 2020) — Iowa State University announces students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences who will receive bachelor of sciences degrees upon completion of the spring 2020 semester. The following local students will join a network of 46,000 CALS alumni sharing their talents and making a difference around the world.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 6, 2020) — The Downtown Davenport Partnership, a division of the Quad Cities Chamber, has organized a special local shopping drive-thru event featuring specials at multiple downtown Davenport businesses, 1-4PM, Saturday, May 9. Shoppers are strongly encouraged to place orders at businesses in advance of the event in order to be able to pick-up curbside or via drive-thru while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

WASHINGTON DC (May 6, 2020) — This week, in celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Week, Representatives Dave Loebsack (IA-02) and Sam Graves (MO-06) will introduce a resolution in Congress to honor teachers. The resolution recognizes the contributions of America’s teachers to building and enhancing the nation’s civic, cultural, and economic well-being.
