QC Interfaith is partnering with the Rock Island Housing Authority  to host a 100 Ready Workers Job Preparedness Event on Saturday, April 23rd from 9 am- 1 pm at Spencer Towers, 110 20th St, Rock Island, IL 61201.  Registration beginning at 8:30 am. This event will be held  Please invite anyone you know who may be interested. The event is free and open to the public but registration is requested.
WHAT: A morning of workshops to help you get the support you need in your job search:      
*Resume writing      *Interviewing       *“Soft Skills”      *Resources for Jobs Search & Training   *Building Trades/Apprenticeship info      *Ex-Offenders Services & More!
Presenters from: Black Hawk College, Scott Community College/EICC, Unity Point, Local Trades unions, Highway Construction Careers Training Program and Resource tables!
WHO: All job seekers looking to improve their skills.
TIME: 9:00am – 1:00pm. Registration and coffee and donuts begin at 8:30 am.
WHERE: The Spencer Towers (111 20th St, Rock Island, IL, 61201) are located directly across the street from a Metro bus stop.

*Note: No employers will be present. This is not a job fair!!!
