DES MOINES – On Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 3:45 PM, AFSCME members and friends will hold a Rally for Staff Safety outside of the Iowa Department of Corrections Central Office in Des Moines (Jesse Parker Building, 510 E 12th St, Des Moines, IA 50319). The rally will focus on issues that affect safety at Iowa Department of Corrections facilities and community based corrections. At the event, AFSCME members will deliver a petition from Iowans calling for safety issues to be addressed.
