On Tuesday, April 15th at approximately 12:38PM, the LeClaire Police Department was dispatched to a burglary in progress at 9 Silverstone Drive in LeClaire. Upon arrival, officers discovered forced entry to the back door of the residence. The officers made entry and determined the suspect was no longer inside. LeClaire Officers along with Scott County Sheriff's Deputies set up a perimeter of the area. Officers then began a canvass of the area and with the assistance of witnesses, a suspect was quickly identified and apprehended. Officers also located property that was stolen from the residence. The suspect was arrested and charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Attempted Burglary in the 2nd Degree. Both charges are Class D felonies. The suspect is identified as Ricardo Rosado-Maldonado, 35 years of age, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Rosado-Maldonado was transported and booked in to the Scott County Jail, where he is being held on a $5,000 bond.

AN ARREST WITHOUT DISPOSITION IS NOT AN INDICATION OF GUILT.
