DES MOINES, IA (05/31/2016)(readMedia)-- One of Iowa's most prestigious art shows, the Iowa State Fair Fine Arts show, is calling all Iowa artists to submit entries for display at the 2016 Iowa State Fair. Premiums have increased in 2016 and artwork can now be submitted online.

New this year, fine art entries will be submitted online for added convenience and to increase opportunities for people from all over the state. To enter, visit https://iowastatefair.artcall.org/. Submission deadline for the 2016 Iowa State Fair is June 11th.

Along with increased premiums in 2016, artists receive recognition through participation at the Iowa State Fair. With over one million people visiting the Fair annually, artists are presented with the opportunity for their work to be enjoyed by people from all over the world. The Iowa State Fair accepts 13 different mediums, and offers children, junior, youth, and adult categories. Both adult and youth prize monies have increased this year, awarding $1,000 to the Best of Show winners.
