RU Play Café is a newcomer in the Quad City area serving up a menu of creativity, play, movement, music and just plain fun for all ages. Located at 328 N. Cody Road in the beautiful river city of LeClaire, IA this play café not only offers parents and caregivers an imaginative, creative place to play with their small children but hosts a variety of creative opportunities for older children, tweens, teens and adults as well. Throughout the week local artists share their talents and passions with a myriad of classes in the Café’s beautiful art studio. These creative sessions include arts, crafts, sewing, photography, jewelry making, music, dance and more.
The Play Café is open for family play days the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9 am – 4 pm. Coffee and water are complimentary and light snacks are available to purchase. Participants are welcome to bring a sack lunch or order food from a local restaurant. Each Saturday playday offers a variety of fun activities including things like family yoga, art projects and music sessions for all to participate in if they choose to. Otherwise it is open play time.
