We are pleased to announce that FACE is accepting applications for 2016 Community Impact grants between now and May 23.
This year FACE, a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend, will be using the CFGRB’s online grants application system. This allows our applicants to complete, save, and submit their grant applications in one place and have ongoing access to them. Your organization will first need to create its own organizational profile and login information on the system, if it has not used the online application system for any prior grant applications.
• A helpful five minute video of the basic steps can be found here: http://www.foundant.com/applicanttutorial.php.
• For basic written instructions, go to: http://www.cfgrb.org/our-affiliate-foundations/face/face-grant.html#FOUR.
• So that you don't miss any important communication, please add this email address to your email contact lists: administrator@grantinterface.com. Automated emails from the online grants system will come from this address. (Do not send email to this address.)
• To apply for a grant, click here and then do the following: (1) login to the grant application system, (2) select APPLY from the menu on the left side of the screen, (3) in the “Search” box provided, type FACE, and boxed text about this year’s FACE grants will appear, (4) click on the APPLY button in the lower right-hand corner of this box to begin filling in your 2016 FACE Community Impact grant application.
• For technical questions/assistance with applying online, contact Connie Koehn at 815-589-2646 or FACECF@CFGRB.ORG. If you have grant questions, contact Lee Kiger at 563-249-8908 or lewk202@yahoo.com.
The maximum amount per grant is $1000 and all applications must be submitted through the online system no later than May 23, 2016. A final decision will be made on June 2, 2016, and all applicants will be notified by e-mail shortly after decisions have been made. Please keep in mind that FACE grants are not generally awarded for maintenance of buildings, salaries, and building projects.
Sincerely,
Lee Kiger
