Gallery C is proud to announce Studio Works Artists Group Exhibition “Collective Chemistry” featuring the work of Iowa artists Alda Kaufman, Donna Gibson, Rose Ann Noel, Sharon Krapfl, Cynthia Nelms-Byrne, Barbara Heitzman, Jean Holdener, Amy Fuller, Jessica Weis, Susan Tollefson, Lisa Towers, Allison Poster, Caitlin Donald, Amethyst Barron, Vickie Klinkhammer, and Alice Greenwood. The exhibit runs through January 15, 2017. “Collective Chemistry” showcases the energy and diverse range of 16 Dubuque working artists who comprise Studio Works and contribute to the vibrancy of our arts community. Explorations in landscape, oil, acrylic, ink, mixed media, book arts, colored pencil, photography, watercolor, and pastel.

 

 

Gallery C is pleased to host the artist at an Opening Reception on Friday, December 9

 

from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The public is invited, encouraged to attend, and to participate in the Historic Millwork District’s innovative art scene. All work is for sale. The reception is free and open to all ages featuring inspired food by Chef Kevin Scharpf of Brazen Open Kitchen with special musical guest TBA. Gallery hours throughout the exhibit are Wednesday-Sunday 1-4 p.m.

 

 

Special events in conjunction with “Collective Chemistry” include a First Fridays gallery talk in January 6 at 6:30 p.m. and a Holiday Open House & Trunk Show on Saturday, December 17, 11 a.m.-5p.m. For details visit galleryCM.com.

 

 

Join us for artist talks on Friday, November 4 at 6:30 pm featuring Andonia Giannakouros and again on Friday, December 2 at 6:30 pm featuring a special guest speaker. Artist talks are a part of Gallery C’s regular First Fridays programming; a monthly downtown gallery hop that features evening programming at Gallery C, Studio Works, and Dubuque Museum of Art.
