Proof of Attendance from week-long Hall of Fame exhibit gets $1 general admission ticket

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Quad Cities River Bandits will offer $1 general admission tickets to those who present proof of attendance from the ‘We Are Baseball’ traveling Hall of Fame exhibit for the homestand finale on Monday, July 11. Fans can bring their proof-of-attendance to the Modern Woodmen Park box office any time leading up to Monday’s  7:00 p.m. game against the Clinton LumberKings. Proof of attendance can include a receipt, ticket stub, t-shirt or photograph with a Hall of Fame artifact or plaque. The once-in-a-lifetime Hall of Fame tour is currently open outside Modern Woodmen Park and runs through Sunday, July 10.

The exhibit features a special IMAX movie presentation of the past, present and future of baseball, plus timeless relics, baseball artifacts, interactive fan experiences and more. Tickets can be purchased online at halloffametour.com. After seeing baseball in a new light, the discount ticket offer will give River Bandits fans a chance to turn those new eyes to Modern Woodmen Park to watch the future stars of Major League Baseball compete.

“The Baseball Hall of Fame chose the Quad Cities to kick off its historic tour in part because the River Bandits have such a passionate fan base and the region is such a tremendous baseball community,” said River Bandits owner Dave Heller. “We’re offering this deep discount as our way of saying thanks to this great community for visiting the incredible display Major League Baseball brought to our front door.”

Monday’s River Bandits game will also feature select $3 premium draft beers as part of the daily special. To take advantage of the discount tickets, bring proof-of-purchase for the ‘We are Baseball’ Hall of Fame Tour to the box office at Modern Woodmen Park any time leading up to Monday’s game. The River Bandits are home all week long and tickets are available for purchase for the eight-game homestand by calling (563) 324-3000, online at riverbandits.com or at the box office.

UP NEXT: Register now for the River Bandits Golf Outing on Tuesday, July 19. The annual event will take place at Fyre Lake Golf Club in Sherrad, Illinois. The shotgun-start tournament will also feature a great raffle and registration includes lunch and two drink tickets. RSVP by July 12 to Crystal Bowen by phone at (563) 333-2736 or email crystal@riverbandits.com. Hole sponsorships are still available as well and all proceeds from the event benefit the Bandit Scholars Program, which was founded in 2009 by River Bandits owners Dave Heller and Bob Herrfeldt to annually award three local students with a full-year, cost-of-college scholarship.
