May 4 & 5: Celebrate Navy Week at the Putnam Museum and Science Center!

Designed by the Navy Office of Community Outreach, Navy weeks are arranged to bring America's Navy closer to the people it protects in cities that do not have a significant naval presence. Navy Week activities are included with admission:
May 4 & 5 Times:
USS Constitution Presentations (10:15am & 11:15am)
Come see Sailors stationed aboard the world's oldest commissioned warship USS Constitution as they interact with guests in traditional 1800's uniforms and talk STEM and history.

Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Demonstrations (10:00am-12:00pm)
Navy EOD Technicians interact with visitors through static displays, dive suits, and robots.

Navy STEM Activities (10:00am-5:00pm)
Get involved with our Laparoscopic Simulator Trainer, Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and other interactive activities all designed to show the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and how we use it in the Fleet! Also stop by and visit our Environmental "Stewards of the Sea" and meet Stewie, our mascot, and get an inside look at how the Navy is on the leading edge of environmental awareness.
May 7 @ 7pm:  Aerosmith Rocks Donington 3D

Over their 40+ year career, Aerosmith has earned the title of "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band" and their 3D concert is sure to be a crowd pleaser! With several platinum albums, many number one hits and 4 Grammy Awards, Aerosmith Rocks Donington 3D is packed with many fan favorites.
