When Hurricane Matthew struck the Caribbean and southeastern United States, it left a wake of destruction. In Haiti we received widespread reports of destroyed crops, damaged households, lost animals and blocked roads. In the U.S. the effects of the storm continue to unfold as recovery begins in some areas, while expanded flooding remains a threat in others.

We are responding.

In the Caribbean, we are partnering with ACT Alliance to make sure that houses are repaired quickly and effectively. We are also helping to repair damaged infrastructure like animal shelters and rural access roads.

As with most disasters in the U.S., we will ship material resources to affected areas. Our response will also include small recovery grants to partner organizations who are serving vulnerable affected communities.

Working together, we can give these resilient families a hand as they get back on their feet.
