MASON CITY, IOWA (July 2nd, 2015) - Fly Iowa, returning July 25-26, 2015 to the Mason City Municipal Airport will be offering ride opportunities in three very unique aircraft: A 1920's New Standard Biplane, WWII P-51 Mustang, and a Vietnam Era HUEY.

The P-51 Mustang "Gunfighter," performing in the show, is also offering rides for sale to those who want the ultimate flying experience. Re-live history and ride in the most awe-inspiring fighter of World War II. This unique opportunity will allow riders to experience the sights, sounds, smell, and feel of flying a P-51 Mustang. Rides start at $1695 for a one hour experience that you will never forget.

The New Standard D-25 Biplane will be giving rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the airshow weekend. The open cockpit beauty can take you and three friends into the sky to see North Iowa from a whole new point of view, for only $80 a person!

The Bell UH-1 (HUEY) Helicopter, one of the most iconic aircraft from the Vietnam War era, will be giving rides Saturday and Sunday of the airshow weekend. Fly back in history with the men and machines that were there!  For a $75 donation, riders are able to strap in the back of the helicopter and fly with a veteran pilot!
