Bottled Water drive for families in Flint, Michigan
a city still without safe drinking water today

drop off bottled water or donations

On Saturday, February 27, Quad City charity organization Mercy Waters is holding a water drive from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for the families of Flint, Michigan. Flint’s families are suffering from lead poisoning, and still do not have access to clean, uncontaminated water today. Flint adults and children now have high levels of lead in their blood and they are in need of our bottled water and water filtration units.

HyVee Stores have joined Mercy Waters by offering their Illinois Quad Cities locations as collection sites for this Community-wide event. Also assisting in this effort are the East Moline Fire Department, Silvis Walmart, Whitey’s Ice Cream, the Moline Lowe’s, New Anthem and Green Chevrolet.

Here’s what you can do... to help families in Flint:

Come to any of these Illinois HyVee locations on Saturday February 27, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and donate bottled water or offer a cash donation. Look for the truck with our Mercy Waters banner in front of each HyVee store. If you want, you can buy water in the store to donate, or donate bottled water from any other retailer!

We will be collecting your donations Saturday February 27 at these locations:
