Rock Island, Ill. – Monday, Dec. 5, 2016
Singer-songwriter J.M. James will begin two weeks of outreach performances Monday, Dec. 5, through Quad City Arts’ Visiting Artist Series. James is returning to the area for a second Quad City Arts residency, as he previously visited in 2015.

During his residency, J.M. James will offer songwriting knowledge and performance experience based on his work as a songwriter, performing artist, and a musician in the backing band for country artist Drake White.
James will present at 10 Quad City area schools for elementary through high school students, at three area community colleges, and will give workshops to students in Davenport, Rockridge, and Muscatine schools.
The 2016-2017 season of the Visiting Artist Series features nine performing arts residencies, including a theater artist, musical ensembles, and tap dancers, and runs through April 2017.
