Davenport, IA – May 23, 2016 – KWQC TV6, the local NBC affiliate in Davenport, Iowa/Quad Cities (DMA 101), announced today the promotion of highly experienced television and digital sales veteran Tim Stinson from Advertising Executive to Local Sales Manager.  In his new role that is effective on June 1, Stinson will oversee the station’s local sales team with focus on team training and creative sales strategies that will improve TV6’s market share and revenue.

 

Stinson will report to KWQC General Sales Manager, Todd Grady.  “Tim is a first class sales professional with unparalleled experience in the Q.C. market,” said Grady.  “His ability to lead, coach and mentor will elevate our already high performing sales team.  I am confident he will accomplish great things here at TV6”. 

 

 

Stinson has held sales and sales management positons in both local radio and television, including fourteen years as Digital Sales Manager at the local ABC affiliate.  In his twenty five years in the Quad Cities, he has developed a large network of community connections, including having served on the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley for ten years.
