DAVENPORT, IOWA - Figures of the four-footed variety are the focus of Davenport artist Dean Kugler's latest show, "Animal Farm," on display at Beréskin Art Gallery June 19 through July 23. The public is invited to a reception for "Animal Farm," June 24 from 6pm to 9pm. Take this  opportunity to meet the artist and hear about Kugler's current and future projects, both two and three dimensional at this celebration of his work.

Animals are a departure from Kugler's usual subject matter. Nationally recognized for his bold sculptures of the human form, Kugler was inspired to explore the world of animals after seeing gallery owner Pat Bereskin's portrait of a cow. Kugler's resulting two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces run the gamut from whimsical to serious, exhibiting the same depth of emotion found in his studies of two-legged bodies.

"Animal Farm" can be viewed any time during Beréskin Fine Art Gallery's regular operating hours, Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Beréskin Fine Art Gallery is located at 225 E. 2nd St., Suites 102 and 104, Davenport, Iowa, 52801. For more information, contact owner
Pat Bereskin at 563-508-4630.
