Rock Island, IL – St. Joseph the Worker House is pleased to announce it is hosting its first annual Wings for the Future charity event to be held on Thursday, April 21, at the
Rock Island Holiday Inn. Tickets are $50 per person, and the event begins at 5:30 p.m.
The night will feature a variety of five wing stations, each with its own beer pairing. A sixth station will feature a specialty beer made only for this special event to compliment
a dessert. Music entertainment will be provided by Coleman Harris.
“Even though we’ve been open much longer, for the last 10 years St. Joseph the Worker House has held its ground in keeping its doors open, thanks to a few dedicated
souls within our community who worked without fail,” says executive director Ann Ring.
“But this year, especially at this upcoming special event, we’re focusing our sites on the next decade like never before—our Second Decade—to give homeless women and
children wings for their future.”
For more information about this charity event, please contact event organizer Deanna Woodall at 563.275.8749 or dwoodall712@outlook.com. Convenient online registration
is available at sjtwh.org.
St. Joseph the Worker House Association is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Its mission is to offer services and transitional housing for homeless women and children in
a setting which is homelike, healthy, loving and supportive, and to provide connections to local services that assist families.
