Maple Leaf Concert Series invites you to bring your family and enjoy the sound of Neil Diamond, Tueday, March 15, 7:00 p.m. at Dahl Chapel. Denny Diamond, who is known across the country for his impeccable likeness to Neil Diamond, will be Maple Leaf Concert Series special guest for one night only. Tickets are still available by calling the Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce office at 309.734.3181, or, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Dennis Svehla, who is known by fans as Denny Diamond, is a trained vocalist and acoustic guitarist who is best known for his unique tribute to the music of Neil Diamond. His shows have a reputation for being interesting, interactive, and based on Diamond’s music and lyrics, not impersonation. In addition to the song stylings of Diamond, Svehla mixes in several numbers from the genre, including: Glen Campbell, Elvis, Tom Jones, and Johnny Cash.

Board president, Barb Clark says, “We always focus on booking performers with our series, who are sure to provide quality entertainment, and Diamond is no exception.” She added that every group in Maple Leaf’s concert series is family-friendly and a wonderful opportunity for everyone to expand their music horizons in the beautiful atmosphere Monmouth College’s Dahl Chapel provides.

Maple Leaf Concert Series will be celebrating 25 years of bringing wonderful music to the community next year.
