Ongoing through Saturday, July 16th, the Mercer County Fair will continue to bring family-friendly fun to the Mercer County fairgrounds, SW 12th Avenue and Illinois 17, Aledo.

There are livestock shows, a variety of foods to try, and carnival rides. Wristbands allowing unlimited carnival rides will be sold for $20 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The fair will also have a demolition derby, lumberjack shows, and truck and tractor pulls.
