Comptroller to outline spending, deficit projections for year
CHICAGO - Comptroller Leslie Geissler Munger will hold news conferences in Rockford, Moline and Peoria on Wednesday to discuss the growing cost of the state's budget impasse and the ramifications for future state payments.
Munger will discuss the current bill backlog and spending projections for the remainder of the fiscal year, and then take questions from the media.
