  •  Call for Volunteers - FIRST Robotics Upcoming Quad Cities Events   
    Anyone with the time and desire, can be a volunteer at a FIRST event which are one day or less.  For the Quad Cities, more than 300 volunteers are needed to support 15 FIRST events from November through April supporting approximately 1,500 students age 6-18.  No previous experience or technical background is required for many of the volunteer positions. Volunteers can be high school students and above.

  • Invitation to Wed, Nov. 2 STEM Teachers Night Out at St. Ambrose University
    Quad City area STEM teachers, school administrators, and stakeholders are invited to the next FREE, STEM Teachers Night out.  On Wed, November 2 the event will be hosted at St. Ambrose University with pizza and drinks provided with the event starting at 6:00 PM with the program starting at 6:15 PM.  St. Ambrose will provide a brief overview on their extensive programs in STEM including outreach for pre-college students along with a tour of their engineering labs, shop, and discuss plans for future spaces for expanded labs and adding a Makerspace.  Other key Quad City area STEM updates will also be provided with plenty of time for networking.
