Quad Cities – National Geographic, in partnership with the Mississippi River Geotourism Council, is rolling out the Mississippi River Geotourism Website, an interactive site that highlights what’s unique and authentic about places along the Mississippi River through the voices of the people that live there.

Over the last 18-months people from along the entire length of the River have contributed almost 2,000 nominations to the website, helping to tell the story of what’s so special about the people, places and businesses along the River.

Speakers include: Jim Dion, Sustainable Tourism Manager, National Geographic Maps
