Annette Martinez expands her role at the senior living community

DAVENPORT, IA (April 25, 2016) – Senior Star at Elmore Place is pleased to announce the promotion of Annette Martinez to assistant executive director.

Martinez, a native Quad City resident, has been working at the senior living community for more than two years in the role of community relations consultant where she was instrumental in  developing partnerships with industry leaders within the community in addition to educating the public about the importance of being informed on aging well topics and trends.  Martinez’s commitment to the Quad Cities community and to serving senior adults contributed to her recent promotion to assistant executive director.  “Annette is a strong communicator and leader,” said Marc Strohschein, Senior Star at Elmore Place executive director.  “Her desire to further build valuable relationships both in the Greater Quad Cities community and here at Elmore Place as well as her passion for ensuring that the needs of our residents and families are met is superior.”

In her new role, Martinez will continue to establish key community partnerships in addition to playing an integral role in Senior Star team development and family engagement.  “I want to make an impact on people’s lives.  My goal is to get them to smile and enjoy a purposeful moment each day,” said Martinez.  “I am thrilled to expand my role at Senior Star and to work with families and residents to see their ideas and goals come to fruition while also helping our associates grow within their careers.”

Martinez graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University with a double major in business management and marketing, and received an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
