Get out to enjoy the water this summer

What better way to welcome summer vacation than heading out to cool off in local pools? You have plenty of options in the Quad Cities to have fun poolside.  If you have little ones, a big pool can be intimidating.  These options are perfect for a day cooling off for little tikes.  Or if you want to be NEAR the water, but not IN the water, a Mississippi River excursion might be the perfect activity for a summer day.

Meet the animals at Niabi Zoo

Come and meet the newest animals to see at Niabi Zoo this season.  Some of those new additions include the African Crested Porcupine, which is the largest porcupine in the world, a new meerkat exhibit, and a brand new Amur leopard.  Want to know what it's like to feed and care for a wild animal?  New Zookeeper chats are held daily at noon and 3pm
