(CEDAR RAPIDS, IA) – The African American Museum of Iowa will re-open Thursday 10/6/2016 at 10am. Visitors are invited to enjoy our permeant exhibit “Endless Possibilities” at a discounted rate as we continue re-installing our temporary exhibit on African American Literature, “Mightier Than the Sword.”

 

 

The AAMI’s education programs have also resumed. The museum’s next event will be “Step Afrika,” presented in partnership with Hancher Auditorium on 10/18/2016.
